Kaffa is a region in southwest of Ethiopia, bordered on the west by South Sudan. Coffee is the principal and traditional production of this region, its cultivation facilitated by the climate and the nature of its soil. The region is currently hosting an important number of refugees from South Sudan.
Amare npo has financed the creation of a coffee plantation on an area of 10 hectares in the village of Bure and construction of the road connecting the plantation to the village, to allow transit even during the rainy season.
