Very relevant project achived by Amare npo in the city of Bahir Dar, under the custody of DASSC - the Committee on development and social services of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus. 

The project has 3 important features:

- it is a triennail project (2014-2016)

- it is an international project, achived by Amare npo in collaboration with the Community Evangelical-Lutheran of Bad Salzuflen in Germany and the Deaconship of the Czech Republic

- it is a project designed to the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of women, children and youths of the city of Bahir Dar.

In particular, the project provides:

- medical, social and nutritional assistence to the children; and regular school attendance

- professional training for women and youths, in order to acquire basic business knowledge, to start income generating activities, to create help-to-help groups

The specific situations and the help-to-help groups have been constantly supervised, in this way all the 332 partecipants have been successful in the 3 years of the project. 

The project was awarded at Expo 2015 among the best projects to promote the women's entrepreneurship in underdeveloped countries.
