Kaffa is a region in southwest of Ethiopia, bordered on the west by South Sudan. Coffee is the principal and traditional production of this region, its cultivation facilitated by the climate and the nature of its soil. The region is currently hosting an important number of refugees from South Sudan.
In 2013, Amare npo has achived the construction of a well in the village of Itang, as well as measures to monitor the water quality.
